Being an NHS training practice and what this means for you.

We are an approved training practice and have GP Specialist Trainees (GPSTs) working in the practice on a regular basis. The specialist trainees are fully registered doctors who have completed their hospital training are experiencing now specialising  in general practice. They occasionally video consultations as part of their training and assessment.

You will be informed beforehand if recording is to happen. This will only be done with your consent.

There will be no recording of intimate examinations and the camera can be switched off on request. If you do not wish to be recorded, this will not affect your consultation.

We also have junior (qualified) doctors (Known as Foundation Doctors) working in the practice for periods of 4 months each. They rotate through various hospital placements and  gain  initial experience in the speciality of General Practice.
